Everything on TV today stared with an idea and a passion for wanting to share it.
“But I don’t know how to turn on a camera let alone put a show together!”
Channel 6 will help you every step of the way. We have access to freelance camera people, directors, musicians, voice over talent, editors the works.
“It’s got to be expensive to put on a TV Show.” Although Channel 6 is not exactly

There is a minimum cost to air a show each month for a half hour program. This guarantees you a minimum of two airings a week, plus ROTS rights (please see Rate Card for details).

Rates increase during prime time and reduce during off times. Consideration is also given to length of contract, children’s programing and community service programing.
Can I make any money bringing programing?
Yes.
Once Channel 6 has covered the basic fees we can either enter a cooperative arrangement to share the profits or, if you have sponsors in your pocket, you can take 100% of the income above the basic fee.
No Really, Can I Make Any Money on Channel 6?
If you watch TV you will see an average 30 minute program has at least 3 commercial
“Blocks” averaging 3 minutes each (Okay so most are closer to 5 minutes -
Look at the rates and do some quick math. You’ll not get rich with Channel 6 but it’s not bad. You’re on air, and who knows when your show might be seen by that snowboarding agent from Hollywood.
Just remember to tell them you got your start on Channel 6 in Big Bear!
Maybe You Don’t Want To “Put On A Show”, But You DO Want To Get Involved.
A lot of Channel 6 is people who care about the community; see a need; and have a talent to help.
